Hotel a Mount Vernon

“The spigot fell off when we used the shower. The room was ok clean and the bathroom needed updated and cleaned. Breakfast was typical continental style but the fruit and yogurt was out when we went. Someone brought more out by the time we were ready to leave. It seemed they were only putting 2 of each item or so out at a time so it seemed easy to run out quickly. The ice machine didn't work so one of the maintenance workers said we might be able to get ice at the front desk but there was no...

“Clean, quiet, historic, calm. It’s a “real” hotel with authentic charm. It reminds me of The Drake in Chicago — perhaps a southern cousin. I will recommend it and definitely stay again.”

“Loved the breakfast! Room was clean and comfortable. Price was good. Staff was helpful. I definitely would stay again. Pool was very clorox smelling. My only complaint was the gnats flying around in the breakfast room.”
